Dear Alex and Jane is a wedding photography boutique based in the Hudson Valley and founded in NYC by artist and fashion photographer Rachel Brennecke. Dear Alex and Jane was born following press for the bridal collaboration between Stone Fox Bride and Honor in 2014, featured in publications such as Martha Stewart Weddings, VOGUE, Elle, InStyle, The New York Times, Harpers Bazaar, Refinery 29's 'The Cool-Girl Bride-to-Be', The Bridal Guide's 'Ultimate Wedding Gown Glossary', and The Zoe Report's 'How to get wedding-ready like an It-Girl'.
Formerly First Assistant to renowned ELLE beauty and fashion photographer Gilles Bensimon, Rachel brings her classic fashion expertise, the art of portraiture, extensive experience in the art world, and her rock n' roll background to each project, to creating something unique and timeless. Known for being incredibly friendly, easy going and discreet, Rachel will feel like a long-time friend who is silently and meticulously documenting one of the most memorable days of your life.
